Located just moments from Blackburn Station, the proposal seeks to transform the existing double-storey commercial building into a vibrant mixed-use destination centred around food, hospitality, recreation and community connection.
01 The Vision
The proposed redevelopment brings together a new hospitality venue, gym facilities and rooftop activation space - creating a place designed to be enjoyed by locals throughout the day and into the evening.
Blackburn is a well-established and growing community, with more than 85,000 residents within a 3km catchment. The site sits within easy walking distance of Blackburn Station and the surrounding retail, business and residential precinct.

The broader venue concept brings dining, entertainment and recreation together in one integrated experience created specifically for the local community.

It will support a diverse range of dining and social occasions, from family visits and casual meals to group gatherings and celebrations.

Ground Floor Hospitality Venue
A contemporary space for casual dining, after-work drinks and social catch-ups for the community. Bowling is proposed as part of the ground floor offering, providing an activity for families, groups and celebrations. No gaming facilities are proposed as part of the venue.
Family-Friendly Outdoor Space
A landscaped outdoor area with seating, dining and a children’s play area, creating a welcoming environment for local families.
Rooftop Activation Space
An open-air rooftop space providing a unique setting for casual dining, social occasions and community events.
Fitness Facilities
Level 1 - Gym
New fitness facilities designed to bring additional activity and amenity to the precinct. A dedicated fitness space designed to support health and wellbeing, while bringing additional activity and amenity to the precinct throughout the day.
